Peterson Coulee Hare Scramble

On September 23rd,2007 we held the first Peterson Coulee Hare Scramble. We nicknamed it North Dakota's Last Man Standing. We had 65 riders aging from 6 to 56.It proved to be a very physically draining race but most everyone had a good time and said they would come back to try it again.

The event was held in the Little Pembina River valley northeast of Langdon or west of Walhalla. It was held on private land owned by Beverly Peterson who was nice enough to let us invade her backyard for the weekend.

The course is designed to be challenging for all levels of riders but with easier, longer lines for the people who do not want to do the harder obstacles. There is a seperate course for the pee wee, kids, junior and sportsman classes. The C class ran a shortened version of the A-B loop. The A-B loop was 5.6 miles long and took anywhere from 20 to 45 minutes to complete a lap. This was the last race in 2007 in the Dakota Scrambler series.

From Walhalla,ND-13 miles west on highway 55 and one mile south.
